A Modern Menswear Shop in Charlotte
In a new mixed use development in a hip neighborhood in Charlotte, North Carolina, this Bonobos guideshop had to fit the area as well as the brand. The shop is separated into two zones, the front sales area and the back fitting room lounge area divided by a bar that acts a point of sale zone for the employees, known as guides.
Having the only mirrors outside of the fitting rooms allows the employees and customers to interact for a more guided experience. The focal point of the lounge is a commissioned mural depicting a color block version skyline of the city along with patterns the brand is known for. The art along with the trellis help the store represent the warm yet bright and colorful nature of the brand.
